Yeah im thinking about replying, i think i may have heard something of a colleague of mind taking a trip somewhere. It may have been Nigeria.

Your coworker is in Nigeria, you're safe. Now Germany OTOH I'd be worried. Send them your info and get that $800,000 they cannot tell you is in the package for privacy concerns.

haha. some of the wording in the thing is great huh? they cannot tell me 800,000 is in the package, and cannot take any more money from my colleague, even though they are handling his money in the first place.

I've read news reports that noted that there are a large number of 14-16 year-old kids in Lagos, Nigeria that run their own scams right out of Internet cafes in the city. instead of going to school they just sit in the cafes sending out mass emailings all over the world. They might get only 1 out of a thousand to bite ... but they make a pretty good living (for their age) stealing form others.

My fav place to meet these scammers is Craigslist. You can spot their postings very easily. I love it when they respond 3-5 days later that the item (usually a laptop) is not in my city but it really in Manchester, England. Yeah, I'll be sending my payment out as soon as Western Union opens ...
