Ocean Spray 16 oz $1.25 .... $10.00 per gallon

Vick's Nyquil 6 oz $8.35 ....$178.13 per gallon
Pepto Bismol 4 oz $3.85 .... $123.20 per gallon
Whiteout 7 oz $1.39 ........ $25.42 per gallon

And this is the REAL KICKER...
Evian water 9 oz $1.49..........$21.19 per gallon?! $21.19 for WATER -
and the buyers don't even know the source. (Evian spelled backwards is
Naive.)

So, the next time you're at the pump, be glad your car doesn't run on
water, Scope, or Whiteout, or God forbid Pepto Bismal or Nyquil.

And a very stupid comparision, as the packaging on a 2 once container is a huge amount of the cost of these items.

How much for snapple poured from a 5000 gallon tank into a 20 gallon bucket that is reusable over and over and over?

Funny not found. I can choose not to buy those beverages. As for frequency, brake fluid is on the low scale and medicine isn't always needed to get over a cold.

As others said above, this is old news. Try looking up the price of some proteins. 1 mg can run in the millions. Heck even some common high-end makeup in department stores runs upwards of $200 per oz. But no one ever uses 10+ gallons of that stuff a day. Many people use 10+ gallons of gas a day.

But for more common purchases, Evian is my favorite example. Did you know that Evian makes a skin moisturizer? Guess what is in it. Evain water and compressed nitrogen to spray the water on your face. Nothing else. What does it cost? $4.50 for 1.7 oz. Yep. $339 a gallon for tap water. I think Walgreens used to sell that at a higher price too.
