My computer is a Dell XPS X630( Core 2 duo with 6 gigs of ram) with a 5770. I would like to do some 3d gamming.

1.Budget(Be sure to include currency if not USD): willing to spend up to $250

2.Do you consider rebates? no I tend to not send them in.

3.Any particular preferences(Manufacturer[nV or AMD], Brand[XFX, Sapp, EVGA, etc], non reference cooler)? no preference

4. Crossfire/SLI? I can SLI but i want to stay under $250

5.Have you previously looked at a product which you feel would fill your needs? GeForce GTX 560 Ti. Thinking I may already be cpu bottlenecked.

6.Which games (If any)do you plan to play and @ which desired detail levels? Age of Empires 3, Starcraft 2, Fallout 3 NV, Heroes of Newerth, Mass Effect 1 & 2, dc universe online, WOW, Battlefield BC 2. Thinking about getting Civ 5.

7. Are there any other uses(Folding, Photoshop, Video editing or watching Blu-Ray) or features (DX11, CUDA, OpenGL, 3D, Eyefinity) you are looking for besides gaming? DX11 - this is for gaming

8. Is the performance added by overclocking something you would take into consideration? I never overclock

System Specs: Dell XPS X630( Core 2 duo with 6 gigs of ram) with a 5770 and windows 7

1. Pre-built(HP, Dell, etc)? Ordering(a new computer) or Upgrading? Dell XPS X630

2.Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

3.Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 3 GHz

4.Power Supply Unit: no idea

5.Case Dimensions(Length, Low Profile, Cooling): Huge

If your not going to overclock , I would choose to get the highest clocked gtx 560. The 950mhz gigabyte model is back in stock, and there are 900mhz Evga's like this one.

If your looking to save money, but is not as powerful, consider the highest clocked gtx 460, but those will generally be 200-210, so I'd opt for the gtx 560 myself.

edit: In this review of that model, they state you have a 750 psu

Core 2 @ 3.o ghz is ok with a gtx560 @ 1080p.
Thats seems like a good choice.

And I see you wanna Play SOme Civ 5, thats a Nvidia title, that runs best on thier cards.

grab this gtx560 , it has a 900 core clock from the factory (10% faster then stock), a great cooler and comes with 2 free good games. 244$ , No rebates. :)

Wow, they lowered the core clock to 950 on the SOC, still 260$ is a good price for that beast.

Thanks everyone for your help. If a 450 sli or any sli is not better then I will go with the one happy medium posted. $15 bucks cheaper and 2 free games. Thanks again.

The GTX 560 Ti is the new 8800GT as per price and performance. I wish I new they were coming out so soon after I purchased 2 GTX 460 1GBs. I would've grabbed 2 of those instead. Oh well.
