From everything I was told, they will be opening new stores. The GM told me that the company spread it self too thin and thats what caused the staff cuts and the like. They got back to profitability and are now looking to expand again, this time a tad bit more controlled so that the same doesnt happen again.

That doesn't change the fact that they are losing money at an alarming rate. They have now tried strategies ranging from extensive advertising to an all-out price war - it looks like opening stores is their last-ditch effort to return to profitability.

I don't want to ruin it for you - they'll give you the company line that things are fine, but there's a reason why there's not much optimism in the stock on Wall Street. Just advising you to keep your options open.
 
Last time I heard they were closing stores also. Either way, I don't think flooding the market with stores is a great idea with computer prices being so low.

Making 70/k year in stockton, living in Livermore, CA though. Still pretty good coin for a student.
