'm running the SMC Barricade 7004ABR.
I figured out how to map ICQ 2000x properly for sending AND receiving files! The trigger is tcp port 5190, and the range is IN TCP 5190, 20000-20019 (one computer, for each additional, add 20 to 20019)

Now, with my problems. I'm desperately trying to use all the advanced features on MS Windows Messenger (XP RC1). These include File-transfer, Remote Desktop Assistance, Videoconferencing/Voice communications and especially Application Sharing. Does anyone know how to get these things to work on the Barricade? There's gotta be a way to do this without the DMZ host (even though I couldn't get that working either).

Thanks!

not answering your questions, but it's funny, i can transfer stuff w/ ppl not behind a firewall (i'm using the smc too).. but if i try w/ someone using the same router.. nothin works (AIM here).

For DMZ, you positive you told it the IP for your computer? do an ipconfig and quadruple check.

Yeah I'm positive about the DMZ Host feature not working. This is what I did:
DMZ host setup:
Enabled DMZ on IP 192.168.2.19
Pressed Enter to save,
Then RESET the router (not sure if I need to do this)
Still no change..
I even Disabled the Firewall after just in case that was causing other problems.. still no luck in using anything in Windows Messenger
