Got the car back from the painter... (Vette Lovin' Pics, 56K... sure, why not)

And how much did that cost you? I'd be keeping it out of that dusty area for a while. Let her rest for at least a few days (if not longer) while the paint hardens and DO NOT WAX IT YET (I hope you already know about that).

I got some NXT and I knew about the wait, but it is gonna kill me.... :frown:

The dusty area is the painter's, I have a garage for it at home and at work.

Phew, glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like the paint job, but if it's what you want, more power to you.

I really really love Corvettes, & I'd be proud of any of them, no matter what the paint job looks like.

As for the folks that don't like it, I am not surprised after I saw the general consensus in the other car threads, but that's ok. I figured I would post them anyway because *I* like 'em and a few others might as well.

Also, what's under the hood? It is stock?
 
It's a beautiful car...

I would never do that kind of paint job myself, but if you like it, i guess that's all that matters.
 
Yeah the consensus is that ATOT will always tell you your car suck even though 1/3 don't have a car, 1/3 drive POS but yet they're better than you.

I too don't get the thing about blocking out license plate. WHY ???
I see hundreds of cars everyday with license plate...why is that any different ??
Hell, if I find someone at work that hates me, should I make sure that that person doesn't see my license plate ??? Make no sense.

Yeah... sucks too.

My mods thus far are the SLP intake, Custom ram air setup, exhaust, 4.11's in the rear, camber brace and body crossbar (already had the x-brace)

Now that the damage is all fixed, my next step is stroking it out to a 383. There is a company here called Moore Performance that does good work.
