If it's anything like the accursed LX1 that I had, you have to undo a screw and pull the case off - I was defeated until I read the manual properly through - the section about adding memory. I'd suggest you do the same.
 
I don't have a manual. It's just a PC I picked up to clean up and give away.
I think I might have figured it out though. (I didn't see any screws anyway).
