Got that upgrade itch....what to do, when and which direction

right now I am running dual 8800gts in SLI with a 5000+ BE @3 GHz and 4GB of RAM.

would jumping up to a new card give me any better performance and would it be worth it now or should I wait?

should I upgrade CPU first then move up to a new vid card?

Are those the g80 or the g92 GTS? And those in tandem at 1680x1050 should be able to compete with just about any current card around (unless the SLI scaling sucks). I'd personally upgrade your cpu before you even look at "upgrading" your cards.

Agreed. you will prob cpu first..depending on game. Unless you really want a gpu now or something.

Wait until i5 or the scaled back 1156 socket i7 comes out and the next gen video cards in the Fall.
