Got sort of a problem

I've measured it out and i have approximatly 89 mm between my power supply and mobo. I've got the Epox 8KTA+ with a Duron 750@800. The case is an Genica ATX 6-Bay Mid-Tower(http://www.compgeeks.com/details.asp?invtid=205-4260) The problem is the way the mobo and case are, the Cpu is directly under the power supply. So with the cpu in and the factory heatsink on(about 55mm), i've got an extra 30-35 mm's of space. I plane on overclocking my system more but obviously need a better heatsink and fan. However i need to leave some space between the cpu and PS for a little airflow. So what would be a good heatsink and fan for my system?? BTW its a socket cpu.

is it directly over the fan on just say...quarter or half? quarter wont make too much of a difference...as for a heatsink i would pick the globalwin FOP32-1 im running my thunderbird 1ghz @ 33° celcius i cant believe it myself...im starting to think i might of damaged my thermosistor its so cool! if noise is an issue get a taisol...they are very quiet
here is an english url for the FOP32-1

hope i could help 😉

If you want to do some serious overclocking you should look into getting a new case. I have a Lian Li PC60 and I love it, but at $180 it was a little expensive.

AMD-approved PS's are supposed to be vented at the bottom of the PS enclosure with the PS fan exhausting the space over the cpu to the exterior of the case. Being close, in this case, is not a bad thing.
