Got some sh1t in my eye the other day...

Not litterally but I was working on an old '82 GMC pickup and I was removing the exhaust pipe (we're doing a complete rebuild) and while I was wearing safety glasses, I ended up getting some sh1t in my eye and I have a pretty good feeling it was the rusted peices that were on there. And so I was wondering if I would possibly need a tetnus shot anytime soon or not. I dunno if this would be a side effect of getting rust in my eye but I've been noticing parts on my body where they hurt for no absolute reason, like they're extremely sensitive, just kinda random I guess...

No, I've had one, probably the reason why I bothered to ask if I would need one. Though the last time I had one was earliest 2000...

I heard from my doctor when I had the shots that the immunization lasts only 5 years and I've been hearing 10 from other people....

Well, I went to the doctor today and says I should be fine. He explained the 5 and 10 year thing to me, 5 years if you get a cut, 10 years with no injury. I did find out though that I was sick and I was well on my way to getting an ear infection so now I'm on antibiotic...
