Got some serious TNT2 problems

Ok i just changed from a V3 3000 AGP,to this Visiontech TNT2. (M64 i believe).

and it is running like Sh!t.

i have the newest Detonator drivers,but its running terrible.
when i fire up Counter-Strike,it will have late reactions on everything.and sometimes when the game starts up it won't even show the Team sellect screen.all i can do is look around,and thats real late reacting as well.

and also when i try to run 3DMark2K1,it will get to the loading screen,then drop me back to the Desktop?

whats up with this damn thing?
could it have something to do with the AGP2X/4X deal?
i think my board only exepts AGP 2X,but not sure how i would make sure the card is running at AGP2X.

Heres my specs:

Win98SE
Cele II 700@874 (Runs V3 with no problems for months now)
256Mb PC133 Ram
20g ATA/66 HD
TNT2 Visiontech M64
Abit BE6 Board

Note* The fan on the card does not work,not sure if that would cause anything or not.
and also,when i put my V3 back in,it runs perfect with 3DMark,CS,and everything else i throw at it.

Need some help fast if anyone can help me.

did u completely uninstall the voodoo drivers? i thought m64 wasn't as good as a voodoo.... oh yeah and use driver 3.50 below, i believe everything above 6.5 are for geforce and wont do that m64 any good..

Yeah i removed all Voodoo drivers,and removed Nvidia drivers each time i tried different ones.

I'll try the 3.X and below.ain't tried them yet.


Voodoo3 is better then this card?
if so i didn't know that.

Ok tried the older Det drivers.

it seemed to help it in CS.

Everything is running allright,but i guess it just don't beat the V3 i was using.

3DMark runs way better with the V3,and CS runs close to the same.V3 has an advantage though i believe.

Your V3 3000 is faster,if I remember correctly the M64 is the slowest version of the TNT2 range.

the v3 should be around 2-3 times faster than that m64 POS

Wish i knew that before i got it..lol.

i thought all TNT2's was the same,if not better then the V3.

i can tell though,the V3 runs way better.

i got another one coming in the mail.

its a Diamond TNT2.
this isn't the same as the M64 right?
hope not.
