It's about time these showed up. VB tanked in 1995 and even then the stands were notorious for cracking at he medallion where the legs connect.

There were some 3D-printed medallion replacements but I somehow managed to crack the clamp on one of my stands so the RepairBox complete assembly suits me better. I'm more satisfied than I may appear in the video because I was able to swap just those components (articulating clamp half and medallion) to have a mostly original stand that's better than the complete replica assembly.

My biggest criticism is that they didn't seem to do anything to bulk-up the medallion. It looks identical. Perhaps they used better materials, but I expect it to crack just as fast. At least they are still making these, unlike the Nintendo originals.

I had a Virtual Boy back in the day... don't know what I ever did with it. Could not play it for long periods of time, but it was real interesting tech for a 10yo boy.

Yeah. Why make it portable as if you're going to have an adjustable height chair and countertop wherever you go? Seems ill-conceived, but I had a lot of fun with Warioland, Mario's Tennis, and Mario Clash.
