Got some new tires for winter

they do not make them for 205 50 17....I am still trying to get dunlop signature sports for under $550 installed.

i was considering getting those, but i went with a set of bridgestone potenza g019s because they were available locally and i was on a tight schedule

I have a couple of bridgestone (?) tripletreds waiting to get put on. They were $118/piece from tirerack, but as time goes on I find I spend more and more on tires. The current ones on my car with very few miles are almost dead, I'm just tired of buying sh*t. Your new tires should be good--I'm talking about the cheapest with a 400 durability rating, I just seem to burn them up like crazy on my maxima.

Hey XZeroII,

You're in WI? How's the snow/ice traction been so far?

The OEMs on my '05 CRV (Bridgestone Dueler H/T D684) are complete pieces of shit (always have been, not just because they're worn now).

Just ordered some Blizzak WS60 and drop shipped them to the dealership to slap on the car I just bought for my wife.

There is no way I am going to drive from Peoria, IL to Toronto, ON without winter tires.

So far so good. Over 18" of snow so far this year and I get great traction.

What to you have...a Subi? Anywho, they DO make a 215/45/17 which will work for you just fine.

I ended up getting GY TripleTreads for my car because of the deal I was able to work out at the nearest DiscountTire. The abundant positive reviews were pretty convincing, too.

Had them put on Saturday and we got 4-6" of snow that night. I can definitely say that it's a night and day comparison between these Triple Treads and the Duelers...I can actually feel through the steering wheel how much more grip I have on snow and ice.
