Got "smudges" on my laptop LCD..

So I was able to fix this white screen problem that I posted about yesterday, but after the water spillage I'm left with some streaks across the bottom left of my monitor..how can I go about fixing this? Is it permanently there or can I remove the screen and either replace the film or "clean" it?

You can try pulling it apart and cleaning between the various layers and film in the monitor but you may not get it back together and working again.
