How did I do on this deal? Plan to undervolt and tweak clocks to get power consumption down by 1/3. Maybe considering buying watercooling kit.
Have LG 4k Freesync monitor (40-60hz) Is 4k gaming possible with tweaks?

Nice, 4k @ 60 FPS should be doable with tweaks on many games I would think.

yeah I grabbed it too. its a reference card, but for that price and the 3 game bundle (if bought on newegg, not ebay store) I couldn't pass it up. will pair with a 1440p 144hz freesync monitor for my son.

i set the target temp @ 70, and fan 1k min with 4k max
it does get up to @ 3200rpm

power draw @215 watts per hardware monitor

My Sapphire Vega 64 is a reference and cost me $640 about a year ago, so that's a pretty decent mark down; great card despite all the hate surrounding the arch. I've put a ton of gaming miles on mine since I picked it up, right before the market went all fun house mirror on us.

I was in the market for the 56 too but eventually gave up as they were going for around the same price as the 64 or MORE on some sites.

How does it compare to the pascal FE blowers?

Not sure, I don't have any Pascal reference cards but my guess is that it would be louder. AMD cards typically are I'm afraid.

I can say that the air cooled Limited Edition version of Vega 64 (or the Frontier card) was louder than the black "base" reference model though...
