Its not on the box, its not in the box on a paper, its not on the back of the cd case.

Open the CD case, pull the flap forward (there are two CDs you realize?) and its hidden behind the second CD printed right into the jewel case.

:p DUH

did you try this yet OP?

There's an unwritten rule at Ebay that says you are not to read any of the item description.

I sold a bunch of MTG cards there earlier this year, and on ALL the auctions I made it very clear that I did NOT accept credit card payments.

What did two of the buyers do?

Oh, that's right, they sent me a credit card payment. I will mention that I also sent them an email right after the auction close reiterating "no credit card payments."

One of them apologized and re-sent with proper payment, the other proceeded to ignore all my emails for four days. I swear there needs to be an IQ test to use the internet.

No we don't, but our testers don't know what software requires a CD Key and what doesn't.

Right....but the fact still remains that the CD must come with a CD Key. So in essene, without the CD Key it is useless, ie. Broken....ie. you're selling crap on Ebay. You can't blame the buyer for your shoddy business practices.

Refund his money and take your negative feedback.

If you're going to make fun of someone's english, you probably shouldn't have spelling errors in your own post.

In that case, you should probably capitalize the E in English.

Ass.

Call up Activision tech support or customer service and tell them you lost the fcuking CD case, and ask them to give you the CD key. They will ask you for those numbers on the CD, damn... easy fix, nothing to fuss about.

Yeah, that's worth a try.

Was he making fun or simply pointing out the obvious? If it's the latter, doesn't that make you an ass? Actually, dumbass would be more descriptive.

Hi Dillwad-

Let me break this down for you... you seem pretty incapable of doing it in your own.

Kermalou ripped the OP for improper use of English. In doing so, he gramatically gaffed as well.

This was tersely pointed out by PowerMac.

Again, an individual (in PowerMac) made an English usage error in correcting another person's thread of the same.

Now its my turn. I pointed out PowerMac's foible, and called him an "ass" for commiting the same error that he had just chastized someone else for.

Get it?

So now you can check my English on this.

You are an ass.

Oh I am sorry, I just sold a car and I don't know a car requires a car key in order to use it. Why don't you STFU already. Teach your freaking tester to learn the laws here, selling both new or used software requires to have a CDKEY. Learn it, use it and live with it.
And also you did the same trick with another buyer on Ebay

Seem like you still keep scam others. And you have no idea what that can costs you, don't you!!!!!

If you really represent Buy Essex, I would suggest that you ammend this conflict with Software2ndComing, since AT(OT) has a profound effect on people's opinions, especially on businesses. As if right now, quite frankly, your "liquidation" front is looking really bad, and it does appear that you are or have found a way to legitamitely rip people off.

ATOT's opinion will probably have almost no effect on their sales. Nice to think that it would, but there are plenty of other people willing to bid on their auctions.
