So Wayne, I hear you're putting on some kind of concert. That's good. People need to be entertained, they need the distraction. I wish to God that someone would be able to block out the voices in my head for five minutes, the voices that scream, over and over again: "Why do they come to me to die? Why do they come to me to die?"

Umm, I already have something I take to keep racist thoughts at bay; it's called information. Amazing how well it can work.

Interesting.

What kind of dosage are you on?
Can you get this over the counter?
Are there any negative side effects?

Moderate to high.

Perhaps. I use the library or bookstore counter (and sometimes, the interwebs). Occasionally I actually talk to people.

Just one—the realization that what you once believed to be true has been overridden by facts.

I always have racist thoughts, because my whole race is fucking racist.

Racist jokes are too fun. Any and all races are treated equally, simply because I always poke fun at everything in this world, includes all sorts of "IQ-challenged" types as well.

<--- not racist at all. Hell, in reality, I don't believe in race. Cultural/ethnic evolutionary/adaptive history, yes, and certain stereotypes ring true simply out of fact (physiological stereotypes are, on average, true - there are always exceptions), whereas cultural/racial stereotypes only ring true when said individual lets them. Gang-banger? Got them in every color. After awhile, in any specific location, it just breeds into a self-fulfilling prophecy thanks to the baby-making and then individuals not doing anything. Again, all walks of life let this happen, you just have to open the eyes / go outside.

It is, unfortunately, a by-product of being human, IMO. Some days the best we can do is keep it at arm's length. I used to be one of a few white teachers in a mostly Hispanic school, which proved to be a most interesting (and, oddly enough, educational) experience.

It's less costly than my previous method for dealing with racism; moving to a nicer neighborhood.

I may be racist, towards every race. But I am no biggot.

You have to be able to find humor in the flaws of all races, including your own.

Not acknowledging racial behaviors & stereotypes would make you blind. But if you are medically/clinically blind, then you would surely be privileged.
