any help?

story::
i was going 81 in a 55, general traffic speed was about 70-75. i was in the left lane, and the cop car was in one of those highway u-turn things. i passed him, and immediately knew i was going to be pulled over, so i took the next exit and stopped in a safe-ish place. the cop was very pissed that i'd gotten off the highway. he thought i was trying to get away. i'm not that retarded....

this was on the way to the Dave Matthews Concert, which rocked.

STFU and PAY IT.

take note, ATOT is never a good place to ask how to fight a traffic ticket.

no, i'm all for paying my fine. i'm just worried about jail time etc. my friend told me that if your summons is for reckless driving, you're in deep sh!t, if its for speeding then you're relatively ok. mine was for reckless driving. (total BS)

You can't just pay it and not go to court?

Do what I did, fight it via Trial by Declaration. But on a serious note, do grow up and quit acting like an asshat on the road.

Whether he has a ticket in his hands or not, reckless driving usually requires a court appearance, as it could result in license suspension.

I was bringing up the contradiction between his statement (bold) and the topic. ;)

call the court and ask them, pretty sure you can move the date. oh and don't teach anyone else how to drive.

hate to see another thread that starts with " my sister got pulled over for reckless driving. "
