I doubt it. If you need it, they'll probably ask why you don't just wear sunglasses all the time?

If I were a judge I'd buy you a pair of sunglasses & make you pay the fine for the ticket.

Heck no they wont accept it. The law is in place not because of you but for the safety of the Police and other people so that they can see in even at night. Too dark or reflective and they have no way of knowing if you are holding a gun or whatever inside there.

You knew the legal limit and went passed it. Pay the fine, Un-rice that moped, and cut your hair, ya Hippy. :p

Many states allow you to have darker-than-legal tint with a doctor's excuse. Do a google search for your state name and tint law or something.

I wish I had limo tint. I don't want anyone looking in my car. It's none of your business!

i hope they will not take the note as its puts police officer live in danger when he/she approach the vehicle after pulling it over. Plus i would hope that a judge would give an additional fine to anyone with such note for waisting court time.

that a fellacy: If hes a normal person with no intent of harming cops, having or not having tints on his sidewindows makes no diff.

i doubt that note will hold up in court. a doctor can not prescribe car window tint. you would have to wear sunglasses.

I have been ticketed for illegal tint on my car, but i wasn't pulled over for it...

they have legal limits for a reason. I wouldn't want a drug dealer to get illegal hints b/c he has an optomologist on his pay roll (lol) and got a note.

You people are retarded. Listen to what I am saying: Some states allow you to have doctor prescribed tint. All you have to do is a simple Google search.

Indiana:
(b) This section does not apply to the driver of a vehicle:
(1) that is owned by an individual required for medical reasons to be
shielded from the direct rays of the sun; or
(2) in which an individual required for medical reasons to be
shielded from the direct rays of the sun is a habitual passenger.
The medical reasons must be attested to by a physician licensed to
practice in Indiana, and the physician's certification of that
condition must be carried in the vehicle. The physician's certificate
must be renewed annually.

California:
(10) Sun screening devices meeting the requirements of Section 26708.2
installed on the side windows on either side of the vehicle's front seat,
if the driver or a passenger in the front seat has in his or her
possession a letter or other document signed by a licensed physician and
surgeon certifying that the person must be shaded from the sun due to a
medical condition, or has in his or her possession a letter or other
document signed by a licensed optometrist certifying that the person must
be shaded from the sun due to a visual condition. The devices authorized
by this paragraph shall not be used during darkness.

Texas:
(6) On application from a person required for medical reasons to be shielded from the direct rays of the sun, supported by written attestation of that fact from a licensed physician, the Department of Public Safety may issue an exemption from the requirements of this section for a motor vehicle belonging to the person or in which the person is an habitual passenger.

Do I have to go and list the other 47 states to make my argument?

that makes no sense most of the time when your driving your lookingout the front windshield so you have to tint that to make the doctor's note valid. i dont know to many peopel that tint that.

Did you already get pulled over, or are you trying to pass inspection?

And what state are you in?
