Got one of those Toshiba HDMI DVD Players from Woot

When I connect the HDMI cable and try and select that input, I am returned a "No Signal or Weak Signal" message as if nothing is connected

For the record, I have the Toshiba SD-K860SU

hmm... it's working if i hook it up with regular RCA cables

Obviously not....I didn't read him saying "We Get Signal" anywhere....

works now... you have to hook it up with regular cables and activate the HD output

That would be because it's not an HD player.

Yep that's what I had to do with my $59 Toshiba upconverting DVD Player. For the price I paid I'm satisfied with the results. I'll make the leap to HD DVD or Blu Ray in a few years when it becomes more main stream and affordable 🙂
