Got new unlocked Black Razr phone from Motorola, any place online I can check IMEI's for validity?

The reason that I am worried is that the IMEI on the box and phone do not match. What should I do? This is a UK origin phone

they probably just used another box laying around. I wouldn't worry about it (if the phone works...and you can tell that as soon as you put a sim in). If it's stolen, it can be barred...but you can't tell that from looking at the number anyways.
