got new speakers tonight!!

found compusa is getting rid of a lot of component stuff.
I got 2 infiniti primus C150's
and a primus C25 center for $205 plus tax 🙂

I ordered a PANASONIC SA-XR25 for $150 tonight as well.

so it's not some world class system but it's replacing a 8yr old 2 speaker aiwa system 🙂
I'm hooking up my HTPC to it throught the SPDIF out from my revo 7.1

Any reason for not getting the Primus 250 or 360 speakers? They're supposed to be on clearance at CompUselessA also. However, with a good subwoofer, the Primus 150s will still do a great job.

MONEY! seriously, they had the 250's there for $99 but I didn't want to spend another $80 tonight.

I am getting a DAYTON 10" 100 watt sub after Christmas

The Dayton "Tiny Mighty II" is a great subwoofer - and well worth more than the $129 or so that it costs. I'm sure it will pair nicely with your speakers for a system that will provide you with lots of good listening and movie viewing.

have an XR25 and a tiny mighty myself - couldn't be happier, especially for the money i paid.

have an XR25 and a tiny mighty myself - couldn't be happier, especially for the money i paid.

that's good to hear, I wanted to get an XR70 or pioneer 1014, but can't justify the money yet.
