Here's something to try. It's suppose to work on any netscape, but I had trouble with a windows version.

It worked on Netscape 4.78 in UNIX

for URL, try:
about:mozzila(or any mispelled/unknown word)

Now try:
about:mozilla
(laugh here)
after this, go to any web site by typing in the URL. Watch the netscape box in hte upper right corner of your browser.
(LMAO)

This is probably well known, but try about:mozilla in Internet explorer.

I'm using IE 6...but I thought that it worked in all versions. It's nothing special, the page just turns blue to show what Microsoft thinks of netscape (i.e. bsod).

well, netscape 4.78 says this:
And the beast shall come forth surrounded by a roiling cloud of vengeance. The house of the unbelievers shall be razed and
they shall be scorched to the earth. Their tags shall blink until the end of days.

from The Book of Mozilla, 12:10

netscape 7 and mozilla say this:

And the beast shall be made legion. Its numbers shall
be increased a thousand thousand fold. The din of a
million keyboards like unto a great storm shall cover
the earth, and the followers of Mammon shall tremble.

from The Book of Mozilla, 3:31
(Red Letter Edition)

guess its neat sort of...... pseudo-funny? hmmmmm i dunno

The quote people found is part of it.
After finding that web page, the N that normally has comets flying around when you navigate now has a fire breathing dragon appear when you navigate.

Hehe... netscape 4.7some does the neat little fish-cam and also has the quote... don't see any dragons in it, but oh well. Nice to see some programmers with a sense of humor... now if only netscape would find a way not to crash on crappily made sites.
