Went into Solid Edge (dad works there, its a CAD company..) to play some slot car racing tournament on the SGI boxes in there, of course i didnt win.. but anyways, his friend offered me a SGI O2 workstation, he insisted i take it home, so of course i was like sw33t and wisked it away. A couple days later im sitting here trying to learn IRIX 6.5 and installing quake 2 and all those other fun games... its not to bad, i used to havea FreeBSD 4.3 server in my house, its more gui friendly than that definitly so im thinking it should be a bit easier, we shall see!
Heres some linkage...

The one you linked is an O2, we call them oxygen's here at work. They're connected to the zapit viewing machines. The Octane 2 looks different.
http://www.sgi.com/workstations/octane2/ We have a few hunded of the original Octanes here at work. We're phasing out SGI hardware in favor of Linux boxes running on Intels.

That's still a pretty sweet comeup for free.
