Got my x1800xt!!

CS:S @ 1680x1050 + 6xAA/16xAF

I swapped my card for a different x1800XT, still horrible, horrible, overclock potential.

My last XT wouldn't do more than 763mhz (13mhz over stock speeds). Even less STABLE!!!!

Using ATItool beta 10.. the "Overclocking" utility. and Overdrive in the CCC.

Using a different XT I am experiencing very similar clocks..

Cat 5.11's as well.

Whats the deal ATI!!

There is no way I can play games on end and it goes great at stock!.. 13mhz more, artifacts to sh!T.

On 2 cards! I have used multiple voltages settings, fan control settings and the likes..


EDIT: Cat 5.12's still no dice..

729mhz (8mhz effective over stock ) and the card locks instantly..

No voltag or fan speeeds can change this!!!


9080 @ stock.. I could break 10k IF I COULD F'ing OC!!

9885 with the 700/800 BIOS
 
Congrats, but why did you got ATI when you could save 100 bucks on Nvidia. No prob though. Power to you.

Anything will be faster then my 7800GT, and I cant stand waiting for the 14th when the 512mb GTX comes out.



But i am gonna wait cause even at $599 I cant see how it can fail. First graphics card since the V5500 then I dream about.

I always find it humorous that people ridicule or insult other people about how they spend their money. I guess people should never buy new cars because they lose value so fast or are paying a premium. On and on the cycle goes and jealousy always to those with money goes.
 
Yep, that is def a sweet card. Grats on being an earlybird and don't take any of that crap people are slinging about paying too much to be one of the first to own this card. They just don't appreciate hardware like you do.
