Got my state tax refund in the mail today.

Last years refund!! I had forgotten all about it. They even gave me $12 in interest.

Now what can I spend $281 on. Nah, I think I'll put it in the 'house' fund.

State of Michigan.

It stands to reason it came late...I didn't send in the form until after summer sometime. I think it was Aug or Sep. I remember calling Lansing up and asking if there was some kind of penalty. They told me as long as I was getting a refund instead of having to pay they didn't care when I sent it in. That was music to this procrastinator's ears.
