Absolutely pathetic.

Math: 700
Verbal: 560

definitely retaking. I'm hoping for a 750 in math and above a 600 in verbal. At least now I know what I have to work on. Math is pretty much a breeze, so I just have to review vocab.

Not too pissed. First time I've taken 'em (since 7th grade), and didn't take any prep courses or read any books on it.

Math was good, at least. Though that's too be expected, I'm pretty much the math nerd

Have they changed the amount of points since I had taken it 10 years ago?
Id swear Verbal topped out at 600 back then.

Read the Princeton Review books for SAT... I went from a 1250 (practice test day before) to a 1320 overnight after reading the Princeton Review.

It's an easy, fast read and you can read the entire thing in a night or two (at least I did.) Their english help is the best. The math help is also good.. It's interesting to read and they make fun of the test the whole time (entertaining to the max, cowabunga!)...

TMNT RUleZ radical gnarly PIZZA! Apples and Bananas and Apples, oh my!

Good job! Just get the verbal up a bit.

Did you take the test in the normal amount of time?

Yeah! Four 30 min sections and two 15 min sections.

Your brain is so dead at the end. That's probably where I lost the most points :)

Just curious. It seems like I hear more and more about students getting extra time because they have ADD/ADHD. That was unheard of when I took the test.

Last year I had a co-op who had a 1080 on her SATs and she was a dynamo. She learned quicky and was very efficient.

This year, I have a kid that scored 1280 and he's about half as productive, not to mention that he has no personality.

Princeton's SAT sucks, Barron's is good
I went from 1250 practice to 1400 SAT (1st) to 1520 (2nd) while doing Barron's.

Your verbal is low. You math is impressive, though. Good enough for most elite colleges.

Work on verbals.
