Got my PN50B650, now need a sound bar

I'm looking at the Samsung HT-BD8200 and would like to go ahead and order it from Amazon who's taking orders for MSRP at $799 but it says it won't be available for a month or two. My question is do you think it's possible Samsung will have a way to allow an internet connection to share between a Samsung tv and the Bluray portion of the soundbar? I'd like to order the wifi USB key for the television, but only if it will share it's connection with the soundbar/bluray.
To my knowledge, no past Samsung devices have shared a connection this way but would make sense if they did.

Any thoughts on this or other soundbars? I like the idea of a compact solution over a gangly separate speaker setup.

I'd be careful of the wireless samsung sub's. I've seen many reports of the other sammy models sub cutting in and out from interference and lag.

And it has no HDMI input for HD audio sources. It doesn't do Dolby HD or DTS-HD. Just DD and DTS. There are good Sony, Samsung, Denon, soundbars out there for a lot less that will do a fine job. If a guy were to spend 2200 he'd be a fool to buy that thing, I'd rather piece a real 5.1 setup together at that price. Personally I think that was a very bad suggestion for anyone after researching it. Just because it's expensive doesn't make it a worthwhile purchase.

I believe JackBurton was being sarcastic - that particular B&W Soundbar is generally regarded as a laughing stock among audiophile communities mainly for its mediocre sound and ridiculous price, in fact more ridiculous than Bose IMO.

OP - I'd generally avoid soundbars if I can as they really do not cut it - are you sure surround sound isn't an option? Even so, I'd still opt for maybe a nice 2.1 system than a soundbar.

"Audiophile" and "soundbar" should not be used in the same sentence. 😉
