I got my PR yesterday for Australia, hello cheaper tuition and student concession on public transport.

Does this make me an unpatriotic American? I still love the US, but it's not going to be home again for at least another 5 years. Or is one considered an ex pat when they give up their passport? Because they would have to pry my US passport from my cold dead hands before I give it up.

On a serious note, travel while you can. Have fun in Aussie land.

How did a student get Australian PR? You must have an aussie parent??
