Well for some reason I got like 5 emails last night that said my preorder was ready.
Well I woke up excited and payed for it, but now I'm kinda on the fence?

Should I cancel my order? How long until the big names come out with theres?

Still blows my mind that companies are able to get people to pre order ANYTHING.

More power to them!

I know several other companies are working on smart watches. The pebble was kinda 'meh' to me.

Haven't people been ditching watches because they have cell phones?

I ditched mine long ago because I liked the feel of a free wrist. And I realized that I just didn't give a shit about time...

Exactly. What's the point of a nerd watch? Just get a Rolex if you're an attention-seeker.

I'm intrigued by it, but I will find it hard to give up my regular watches as I like them too much.

Looks like a cool product. However, like tablets, I will probably not get one cause I personally can't justify using it enough to pay for it. I think if you have a use for it, you should get it and enjoy it.

Is it actually a smart watch though? It looks more like a second monitor for your phone.

thats what it is. Just makes it where you dont have to pull your phone out of your pocket every few minutes.

I can see the utility in that. It's not $150 worth of utility for me, but if i was still running a lot or was a heavier phone user or it was < $50 I'd be pretty tempted.

Sounds like there are supply issues. Might be able to turn a profit if you don't end up wanting it.
