thats one of the Nikon digitals I wouldn't mind having, but right now I shall be learning the ropes with my n65. in a photo class this semester too, darkroom will be fun.
 
Welcome to the club :thumbsup: The weather was finally dry today (still overcast) so I had a chance to walk around town and snap some photos.
 
i would love to buy one right now ($596 shipped for the 18-55mm lens kit at buydig) but i need to sell off some of my other stuff before i can justify the purchase 🙁

pillow cover was just changed last night. i think its the light because it looks fine to me.
 
And you thought you weren't going to get it till Friday 😉. I'm assuming this is with the kit lens? Depending on where you live, you may find what I've found so far......purchasing a shiny new camera in the winter sucks 😉. Enjoy the camera, and maybe we'll trade some tips and tricks in the future. I purchased a D50 a couple of weeks ago myself, incase you don't remember me from a couple other D50 threads.

hehe, yeah, they didn't send me shipping info until yesterday, but it was coming from NY, i live in PA, so it didn't have to travel far anyway.

dunno about you, but i'm a total beginner at photography. my dad has a small photography business and he uses digital so i can get some tips there. i'm always open to tips and tricks though.

The kit lens is surprisingly good. That picture above was taken with a Nikkor 80-200mm F/2.8. The 50mm F/1.8 is a must buy also.

I love how the colors 'pop' with the D50. Excellent camera.
