Ahh! Finally! I got my new video card today, Asus X1950 Pro. I hooked it up to my new Viewsonic VX2035 a few hours ago and wow... I'm in heaven  Prior to getting the card I was running CS: Source at an average 11.12 fps on the lowest settings (1680x1050 with my integrated GeForce 6150). I tested it today with the new card and it's flying along at 115.61 fps :Q at the highest settings- full HDR, Antialiasing, etc. I'm so happy with this setup now, thanks to everyone on the forums who helped me make decisions along the way :p :D

Hey nice rig there mate ! ^_^

It's modest, nothing too much, no exaggerations, I like that, what's necessary to run today's games at good to decent settings is all there. I would however also recommend another GB of RAM, and then you'll be set for quite some time. My own system is now one year-old (bought everything during the first week of last year's December) and I don't plan to upgrade until Q2 2007.

Oh and do yourself a favor and use Ati Tray Tools instead of Catalyst Control Center !

Probably my next upgrade will be to add another gig of RAM. And thanks, I'll check out Tray Tools.
