Got my new alarm system installed

neato...now i don't feel so uneasy about leaving my house unattended for a couple days at a time...i got the completely wireless setup, so it's low impact on the property and i can easily take it with me when i leave.

$900 in equipment, that the keypad, cellular backup for monitoring since i don;t have or want a landline here, 2 door sensors, 2 window sensors, 1 motion detector, and it's all wireless since i rent, and i don't want hard wiring in here...

i had to cover the first year of monitoring up front as well, which was an additional $480,
my contract is for 3 years of monitoring.

How does the cellular backup work? Do you have this as an added service?
