Got my MSI Pro2-A!

Got my Pro-2a yesterday (11-29) from Spartantech.com. They shipped it real quick (ordered on 11-27 afternoon). The Mobo looks very nice. Not yet have time to test, but a causal check reveals that the much hated voice feature has already gone (I might be wrong, but I couldn't find the language jumper, and an add-in page to the manual changes that feature as "optional&quot😉. A minor but a welcome improvement.

BTW, there seem to be problems with the on-board audio. Any experiences and solutions? Thanks.

Mine also doesn't seem to have the voice thing either. I havn't hooked mine up yet though. Waiting for my cpu to come tomarrow.

Yes, it seems that on some boards, the "SmartD-Led" was not added, but the 4-led lights (like the Pro) were used instead. I don't know if these boards were an early release or a late one(IE, the voice feature removed.) The sure fire way to tell is there will be a chip on the board with the Smart D-LED sticker on it if your baord was meant to talk to you.

And Yes, the MOBO's talk to you in Chinese or British/English. It helps you figure out what you are doing wrong during the install. If you get it all put together correctly, it will say "System Available" During boot. This Boot message is the one that people say is annoying. Also, some boards seem to distort the message which makes it even more annoying.
