EDIT: Got them today. Had a problem though my right front speaker wouldnt work where the rest would. I tried turning off M3D and all my sound went to the left of me and got nothing from the right. So I unplugged the rear anolog jack from my C-media(cheap 4.1 sound card) and got sound to my front speakers with M3D off. With it on I got sound to all speakers but for some reason the rear speakers had a echo to them. Is this part of the M3D feature and is this normal?

Is there a way to get even sound through all the speakers without any echo? Or is it just my cheap sound card? I guess to really make these speakers shine I would need to buy a better sound card? One thing I hate bought them is the jacks are built into the control center instead of plugging them into the sub. I wonder if these wires are durable/reliable?
 
You'll be just fine with the sub being 3ft. away from your box... my ProMedia 5.1 sub (dual 8" drivers) is about 1.5 ft away from my box and my ProMedia4.1 sub (dual 6.5" drivers) is about 12ft away from my box.

Don't worry about the actual RMS rating on those speakers... according to 3DsoundSurge, your speakers will get as loud as 114dB (with distortion) at listening position!!

Gotta be patient with these speakers. When I first got mine the two rear ones didn't work. Make sure the fade is correct too. That was my stupid mistake. 🙂

Good advice there, I've been running my Z-560s through an older Aureal II SQ2500 sound card (Xitel platinum Storm) for about 2 months now. I've been also looking to upgrade it, was looking at the Audigy line, but i'm considering Sata Cruz now.
