I'm pushing a nice 2324Mhz out of it. However this is all mainly mutiplier. I'm running it at 166x14. Something in my system is holding me back on the fsb. Running it higher will cause system instability. So this will have to do for now until I get a Nforce2 or better board and could lock in the pci/agp mhz. But for now i'm still pretty pleased with this overclock. Just wanted to share :)

As for the temps go, I'm running it on a Abit KD7@1.8volts. Cooling for the cpu is a Alpha 8045 with a low cfm fan slapped on to it (like it quiet). Cpu: idle 60C, load 67C. Motherboard: 57C idle 64 load. Wonder if this is healthy... :p

Is the base of the heatsink hot to the touch? It should be, with those temps. .3 volts over, and those temps are too much, IMO.

the temp is too high for my liking........make sure you installed the heatsink correctly

Yah, that is why I went for the touch thing. In the 60's you get to the base of the heatsink, you'll jerk your hand back;)
My abit kx7-333R seems pretty close tho, through the winbond chip. Idling this cool morning at 28/36.5.
After a bunch of prime it goes to 31/45.5, or therabouts.

I could place my finger on the heatsink for a few secs before I have to remove it. Yah, i'll have to recheck the heatsink, but i'm pretty sure its on tight... pretty hard to mount the alpha wrong :)

That's what you think...... Make sure that it is. When I first got mine I used the washers that had the little notches on them and it fried my chip. So double check that you have a nice fit.

Ordered mine from excaliberpc. The heatsink is on correctly, and I dropped the overclock a bit for now. I'm running rock stable @2158(13x166) with 1.7volts. Going to keep it there for now until I think of something for the cooling. Temps for cpu are idle at low 50C's, load at 60C.

yah, i'm pretty sure this chip could hit 2500 pretty easy, however... The temp is making me hesitate to try. I rather have a bit slower cpu than a burnt one. The temp i believe is mainly case cooling. As I like my systems quiet :)

how high will the processor go on default voltage? and what is the default voltage? 1.5V?

i have a t-bred B 2100+ auihb 0306, and my sn41g2 undervolts the processor to 1.52-1.56V, so the max oc i can get is 1906, anything higher will cause prime to generate errors

i think if i hard wire the L11 gates for 1.75V it shoulde give me roughly 1.7V truely, then i should be able to hit 2100mhz or more

anyone have any links for cutting gates? - i don't want to screw up my processor

I'm running my JUIHB 0310 1700+ 2.2gig @1.61volts with absolutely no problems. I tried 2.4gig @1.667volts, but got an instant Windows error. Really don't care too much because i'm happy with the stability at 2.2gig.

What voltages are people needing to get 2.4-2.5gig?

I'm running my JUIHB 0310 1700+ at 12x200 2.4 GHz but it took me 1.8 V to get there. System temps at load are only 45C so I'm not really worried. RAM is 5-2-2-2 Twinmos/Winbond PC3200 on an 8RGA+. I might try to give it even more juice later if I'm feeling daring but I'm happy for now. :)
