I picked up an ATT unlocked Galaxy S7 recently for black friday,

But I'm having a problem with it constantly showing there's no update to oreo when I go into the menu and click search for updates.

Currently its on G930AUCS4BRA1 baseband. Google search just leaves me at a loss since it says it needs G930AUCS4BRD1 baseband instead. Quite complicated compared to someone coming from ios.

Anyone have any ideas on how to upgrade to Oreo manually?

Not sure how to do it manually, maybe take your phone to an ATT store? I'm thinking if you wait a few weeks the phone should update itself. I know when they roll out a new OS for phones, not all of them update at the same time, but in batches. I am sure you phone was put in a queue.

Yeah Android updates are a mess. I couldn't get my ATT LG V10 to update until it broke and I had to send it in to get fixed. My old Verizon Note 3 updated even though I wasn't on Verizon's network any longer. I need to check if my Mom's Moto phone has an update (don't want it to happen randomly on its own).

I can help you with this - what carrier are you using the phone on?

I am sure you phone was put in a queue.
If OP isn't using the phone on AT&T, they won't get an AT&T update pushed to the phone, ever. It needs to have an active service sim card for AT&T to pull updates.

It's an AT&T phone and I'm using it on T-mobile.

Hmmph. Guess I need an AT&T sim.

Is there a way I can flash it?
