You have it backwords. Those who participate in politics have no right to complain, because they are taking advantage of what their taxes are used for. It's those who don't have any part with politics yet are still forced to pay taxes that should complain.

That's close to $10,000 a year, wonder how much is "SOME" will i get back.

They do that to guard against the possibility of a bonus bumping you up a tax bracket and you end up owing more when you file your taxes. You get back what you overpaid when you file.

Still, it does suck though.

My previous job, I had it good. I got a full paycheck, just had to pay taxes at the end of the year, which wasn't that bad.
