Got my Antec Sonata

Well, I've had my Sonata case for some time now and I had planned to post my experience with it but I forgot. Anyway, all I can say is that I love it!

The hard drive configuration is awesome with them pointing out of the case allowing easy access. The rubber grommets are a nice addition as well for the HDD's and fans. The PSU seems to be really nice, Antec True380W, which is also a single fan PSU that regulates fans based on thermal temperatures. It even has connectors for case fans which are really helpful in keeping noise down as well.

Congrats! That's a nice looking case..just remember those "fan only" connectors are 7V....

BTW, there's a really good in-depth series of threads HERE at Ars Technica on the Sonata, and the effects of various combinations of fans and cooling mods on this case. Definitely worth a read, and lots of good pics....

Blooz1, thats a great article you linked me too. I'm actually going go to try putting pads on the side of mine toward the inside for noise dampening. Thanks again.

Great link blooz. I haven't read those ars threads. I read some other by ffieroboy (probably spelled wrong).

But I was just going to say that I love my Sonata too. Amazing value actually.
