got my A40 today

I got my A40 today, and damn what a nice camera it is! I got a great deal on it, $159 from bb with a free card reader (since the usb cable was missing). This brings my digital camera count up to 3, and its the second one i bough this week. The picture quality on the A40 is insane, it has so many features, I just dont know where to start. Anyone have any sites that might show me what the ideal settings are for each type of picture (night, daytime, indoors, outdorrs, etc.)?

I still can't get the 15-sec exposure thing to make a completely dark room look bright. I always end up with a black image anyway... Anybody ?

The camera is nice otherwise... ain't it ? Bought one for my bro also, for $230 back in February and that was a great deal then. Now it's SOOOO much cheaper. :|

why 2 cameras in the past week?

Also read the manual if the manual is anything like my F100 manual it is *very* comprehensive and more then enough for the person that knows nothing about photography. I got some very good info from the manual of my camera.

Its a 2mp camera right?

yea its 2 mp. I bought the vivtar from staples, and my parents ended up liking it so i went out and bought myself the A40 and I am giving them the vivitar for their anniversary. The vivitar isnt really a bad camera, its a 2mp w/ 3x optical zoom, the best part is i only payed 50.50 for it on clearance.
