Well I got a really good deal on my T-bird and now I need your opinion on what motherboard I should go with. I am looking at the kt133a and kt133e chipset based motherboards. I think that either the Abit KT7E would fit my needs or the Iwill KK266. What do ya'll think?

Iwill, the KE133E is a budget chipset, as if the KT133A isnt cheap enough :D

The Iwill also will get you higher FSB's (~170) with good RAM.

No brainer...Iwill kk266r. I've got one running 161FSB with RAID 0 and all the bells and whistles turned on. Prolly the best mobo I've ever had.

I agree I used almost all the 133a boards and the Iwill KK266 was the best.

<< May I ask how you got a $50 T-Bird >>

Sorry I haven't replied guys. I just woke up and I stayed up last night testing some other "bad" T-bird chips. I got my $50 dollar T-bird from a local computer shop. I just wondered in one day looking for a decent mobo and saw these chips just setting there on the counter. I had known the guys that own the shop for a long time so I asked if I could take them home and test them. Well, I got to take one so I picked out the AXIA that didn't look burnt in the slightest and popped it in my K7T Pro. Well geuss what, it booted right up and so a week later (hehe) I went in and said that the chip worked perfectly. I guess if I were a dishonest person I could have got it for free but they gave it to me for $50. I also ordered my Iwill KK266 last night and we will see how far I can push this chip. Oh by the way, thanks for replying.:)

BigRigDriver, I can tell you were they are, but they usually don't have good deals down there. It is in Artesia, New Mexico (Between Carlsbad (Commonly known for Carlsbad Caverns and Roswell (Where the aliens supposedly crashed)). They are called High Desert Computers on main street here in this little podunk town called Artesia. They probably won't give near as good of a deal. I only got in on this becuase I tested some chips that they thought were burnt and I just got lucky. Oh man this AXIA is just plain screaming to be overclocked. :D
