I've had a M1710 for a couple months now and didn't think I would like it as much as I do.

I have the 3 year unconditional warranty super-dooper-holy-crap package on it as well.


But to make this post somewhat useful....make sure your electricity is turned on in your house.

But can you get them pretty well equipped for less than $1K :(

Otherwise I'd go with a Macbook Air, the newly leaked Lenovo X300, an Asus, Fujitsu, Sony, etc.

I love my m1330. it's built great.. Sure it bends and gives.. But when it's tossed in my backpack and carried everywhere it needs to give some. It takes a serious beating and is running great. I've had it about 5 months or so.


edit. I had a thinkpad t42 before this m1330. I had no problems with it either.
