my dad bought me a coolermaster case back in may, when i got it, i noticed it didnt have any intake fans. i didnt want to seem ungratful so i just kept it. i'm only using 2 of the 5.25 bays and i was thinking of cutting the other two to fit a high flow 80mm (like a tornado or a smartfanII), the problem with that is i cant get a fan controller since i would be using all 4 bays. i really do need a fan controller since i would have 2 smart fan II's and even one is plenty loud. the other alternative is to get a fan controller for the 3.25 bay, but personally, i'm not a big fan of those, do i have to settle and just get it the 3.25 controller?

You're not really settling if you get the 3.25" controller. There's no difference in functionality b/t a full size 5.25" bay controller and the smaller 3.25" bay controller. The only difference is the size of the knobs and aesthetics. Kind of like a really big 2.0 megapixel digicam and a teeny tiny 2.0 megapixel digicam. They look different, but do the exact same thing just as well as the other. :)

I understand; it's all about self-satisfaction. :D Then you've got some choices to make.

Can you cut a suckhole on the lower front part of the bezel? That's the best place for an intake fan anyway; low on the front.

Perhapsa an option is the external Pyramid Smart Fan Controller. Alot of places carry them, and they do look kind of cool. Heres a link
