voltage is shooting straight up real quick...benching 2.88GHz...and 1.625v still won't finish 3dmark2k1...

Very nice stuff Superman , thx for sharing :) ,...looking for same CPU but 2700 mhz is enought for me @ default , i might also wait for the 2400 with C1 step :)

your 3d mark benches seem to be outstanding!
and such low voltage!

(my 1.8 @2.808 156 doesnt even come close)

Are those actual voltages??? they seem like voltages set in bios...

Also Since you need to increase voltage at 2790 I think you have a chance to still get to 3ghz but likley will fall short unless you use above 1.7v towards maybe 1.75v....


Nice oc though....may have to go to 1:1 ratio to get 3ghz since it will take 167fsb and with a 3:4 ratio mobo it will be 444mhz ddr....

no...those are bios voltage setting...actual is only higher during idle...I am going to take it all the way up to 3.0GHz+...but I think I need more voltage then i would like...
I am going to try both 1:1 and 3:4...just for testing purposes...of course i already know my mem won't hit it above 418ddr...gotta do more extensive testing...but i am pretty sure 418ddr is the highest...

sorry...didn't get to play with it last night...was trying to fix a hd failure...i am gonna RMA that sucka before warranty is up...
but weird thing is i can't get it to finish 3dmark2k1 even with 1.7v set in bios...it either restarts my computer or kick back to desktop...I seem to be hitting a brick wall at 2880MHz
