Getting on the freeway, the speedo stopped working on my bike. I figured the cable broke.
When I got to work, I had forgotten all about it and just went in. 30 minutes passes an a co-worker parks his Harley next to my bike and comes in and tells me my speedo cable was dangling and laying on the ground.
When I saw it dangling I expected the end to be ground off from dragging on the ground. It was intact.
It hadn't broke, it came loose but stayed connected and then fell off after I parked the bike. :awe:

I drove to work today in the cage but as I was getting off the freeway I saw a guy in the carpool lanes on a Ninja with a very underinflated rear tire bombing along at 80mph.

Really pays to inspect your bike before each ride, especially if you haven't ridden it in a few days. At least check the tire pressures...

Soon you too will have lovely TPMS on your bikes...
