F@H will work. I briefly ran it on Fedora Core until I got too frustrated trying to figure things out.

You could probably run anything that will run on Linux, even with a GUI. If you install VNC, things can start GUIs that you don't have to see. I did this to get Wine working with the old SETI client.

folding works great via cmd.... have it running on my fedora box as we speak :)

there's a NICE autoinstall script out there... I'll have to do some digging for it... I had it saved on one of my other boxes but the hdd motor died :|

but if you'd like to try it out, I'll send it over :)

it also will install folding as a service
