Got laid off today.

Sorry to hear it. Can you live off of unemployment for a while ? I hope that your expenses are managable. Good luck.
 
started reading the post and it said got laid so I was about to say congrats but then I read the rest....sucks to be laid off..hope you find another job soon
 
i do not want to reveal too much info, but a larger computer manufacturer sued us. one of the partners of the company was up to some shady stuff. he was not honoring agreements that the company signed.

so the larger company won the lawsuit.

another dot.com busted.

and i changed my signature after i got laid off.

i got $$ saved up for a while. i just hate the no warning of unemployment.

I am thikning of going back to school and applying for the sherriff academy.

yeah i've had this happen to me this year too. they gave me almost a month's notice though when the boss confirmed it and said we should start looking. it was still sad though. 🙁
