He doesn't even have to drive through downtown Gary. There is an Indiana Toll road entrance ramp right at the front gate (Broadway entrance) of US Steel that he can get on and run it straight to the Portage exit (Willowcreek Road exit).

Well I knew Gary was basically a shit hole, but didn't expect to hear this much terrible things about it. Either way, I'm going. I was already planning on getting a gun (see I want to buy a handgun - 9mm). I don't think they'll actually have me live IN gary, but probably fairly close. They said about 25mins away from the plant.

We accidentally got off at the wrong exit on the way to South Bend one time and wound up in Gary. It was a scary-looking place, and that was at 10 AM
