got it

The Modstreams are supposed to be good, as well as the NeoPower, which at Newegg is about $10 out of your price range.

If you don't have to have modular, any good Fortron, Seasonic, or maybe TTGI (or a supply marketed by another company using one of those companies' parts) should do.

Watch the F- out for dual rail PSUs if you get the A8N-SLI (or another SLI board). Lots of people having issues. A single rail is better for these.
I'm getting the OCZ Powerstream 430W.

Why not? Wattage doesn't mean anything by itself... and the Powerstream 420 has lots of amperage on all three rails (this is a more worthy measurement to look at), so it should be more than enough.

yeah but would it hold up for future upgrades and o/cing? Would it be more future proof then say the 450 or 520watt modstream?

It should hold up fine for quite a while... it's listed as having 30A on its 12V rail, which I believe is enough for SLI 6800GTs.

Would you all say the Fortron Blue Storm 500W would be a better quality PSU than the modstream? I mainly like the modstreams cable shielding since its UV reactive and the modular design. But I could give that up if I could get a more reliable PSU. This is the most I've ever spent on the PSU so I want to try to get my moneys worth.

Wolfman mainly looking for a sleeved PSU if possible. If that one was sleeved I would jump on it but I've tried to sleeve a PSU before and it wasn't fun.

Seasonic Super Silencer 460 Watt = Best. Power Supply. EVER!!!!

Seriously, I have it and love it. It's close to silent. Really efficient (it claims to be able to save multiples of its cost over other PSUs in the electric bill because of it's efficiency. dunno if that's a fair claim). Solid as a rock. Ultra reliable.
