first, wrong forum. You want networking.

Second, it looks like a permissions problem...set it so you have permissions on the laptop to connect to the desktop.
 
It's probably a permissions problem. Check the permissions on each shared directory and make sure write access is granted to the right user(s).
 
Permissions for C on the laptop says:
This has been shared for administrative purposes. The permissions cannot be set.
Did my IT people not allow sharing? If so I'll have to get then to change it but that doesn't help me now.
